How fitting that this film should be the first on my blog!
This 1954 Epic is based on Jules Verne's classic book. Produced by Walt Disney as one of their first live action movies, 20,000 Leagues under the sea is actually a fun movie for just about any age. I will admit that some parts were a little long and slightly boring. But I personally prefer this to the fast, blink and you'll miss it, story telling of modern films. Extra bonus if you can watch the making of documentary found on the DVD.
It is just as exciting and captivating as the movie! I give this movie 3 out of 4 squids.
